Red Cabbage with Bacon- Modra Kapusta z Boczkiem - Recipe #299
- 1 kg Medium head of red cabbage around 2 lb
- Half of a large onion
- 250 g of smoked bacon 9 oz
- Chop all the veggies and bacon.
- On medium heat fry bacon and onion until the onion turns translucent and bacon fat melted.
- Add cabbage and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 30 min on medium low stirring from time to time.
- Serve hot!
