Raisin Bread – Ciasto Drożdzowe z Rodzynkami – Recipe #279

1 cup of milk (250 ml)
1/3 cup of honey (80 ml)
1/4 cup of melted butter (60 ml)
1 egg
1/2 tsp of salt
500 g of flour
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1 and 1/2 tsp of instant dry yeast
1 and 1/2 cups of raisins


  1. Add all the ingredients in the order how they are listed in the ingredients list to the bread machine. Set the dough cycle.
  2. When the dough cycle is done transfer the dough on oiled surface. Shape a dough in a rectangle. Cut in three long parts. Braid the dough and then transfer to oiled loaf pan and let it rise for around one hour or until it fills in the pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven to 180 C/350 F for about an hour. Cover with aluminium foil to prevent browning too much.
  4. Let it cool on the cooling wrack before you cut and serve.
