Ingredients:
- pork hock
- 1 cup of beer
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1 tbs of salt
- few peppercorns
- 6 cloves of garlic
- parsley root
- leek
- carrot
- bay leaf
Instructions:
- Mix beer and honey together.
- Fill large pot with water. Add salt and peppercorns and then all the other ingredients except the beer and honey. Boil for about 45 minutes.
- Oil your baking dish and transfer the golonka to it. Cut the skin in a pattern. Pour over the honey glaze.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Every 10 minutes open the oven and pour over the sauce from the bottom of your baking dish.
- Serve with baked potatoes, mustard or horseradish.
