Slow Cooker Pork Hocks and Cabbage - Golonka z Kapusta z Wolnowaru - Recipe #158


This is one recipe for a busy day, you spend few minutes in the morning to set it up and then you go about your business to come back to delicious, flavourful dinner! I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork hock
  • 1 kg sauerkraut
  • 3 carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • All spice
  • 2 cups broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Fry the meat on couple of tbs of oil until golden brows on each side. 
  2. Peel off the potatoes and carrots then cut into large cubes. Cut the onion in chunks. 
  3. Combine all ingredients in crock pot with the meat on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Remove the bones and cut the meat before serving.
