- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup of warm water
- 1 tbs of melted butter
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- Mix flour, egg, water and salt in a mixing bowl using spoon. If dough is too hard to stir add a little bit more water.
- Bring large, flat pot of water to boil. Using tablespoon place portions of the dough in the water.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, remove from the pot with slotted spoon or drain in a colander.
- Serve with a stew, sauce, melted butter or heavy cream and sugar.
