- 1 kg pork hock
- 1 kg sauerkraut
- 3 carrots
- 4 medium potatoes
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- All spice
- 2 cups broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- Fry the meat on couple of tbs of oil until golden brows on each side.
- Peel off the potatoes and carrots then cut into large cubes. Cut the onion in chunks.
- Combine all ingredients in crock pot with the meat on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Remove the bones and cut the meat before serving.
